This Credit Guide gives you important information about the products we initiate for you that are regulated by the National Credit Code Protection Act (2009) (NCCP). By definition these are 'çonsumer lending products' with the following attributes:
the debtor (the borrower) is a natural person or a strata corporation;
the credit is, or is intended to be, provided wholly or predominantly for; personal, domestic or household purposes (including buying residential property); or to purchase, renovate or improve residential property for investment purposes; or, to refinance credit that has been provided for such purposes;
a charge is or may be made for provision of the credit; AND
the credit provider provides the credit in the course of a business of providing credit or as part of, or incidental to, any other business of the credit provider.
Although Gary Cumberbatch Finance Consultants is not a provider of credit, as we act in the capacity of an intermediary or introducer to businesses that are as part of our regular course of business, we are bound by the intent and requisite demands of the Act.
